SILCOATES AMERICAN & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Deep in the heart of Yorkshire you will find many attractions to come and see, such as the set for Emerdale or the classic tv show Heartbeat. Well as it would turn out they are not the only attractions to come and spend a day out in Yorkshire for, this year saw the first Silcoates Classic & American Car Show, hosted at Silcoate School on the edge of Wakefield by Paul Copley & Sponsors Hatfields Jaguar of Wakefield also Skoda of D.M Keith LTD. With a clear sunny but crisp day, Classic American and british tin rolled up for the day also classic bikes were out to display their pride and joys at the public one day show, also with a display of movie cars such as such The A-team Van and del boys 3wheeler the mixture of vehicles & sunshine even the Stig came along to have a look for the day. With plenty of stalls and a bouncy castle the visitors had plenty to do while walking around. As shows north of the boarder are few and between this one day show is a must for all. Visitors as far and wide as Newcastle came along to support this first event, a good day out was had by all that attended and we hope to see this continue for many years to come, you never know you may just walk away with one of the top 5 trophies presented by the Stig, if you bring your car along for display.
